After researching the advertising market I have not gotten any closer to knowing which type of advertising might be the best to introduce my business to the community? I have asked some others what they think but have not gotten any feed back.
So which type of advertising would you try first, Radio, TV or Outdoor Advertising? As I have said I have researched each one and still am not sure which one is the best to go with, I have talked to the local TV stations and Radio stations as well as a company called USA Outdoor Media that specializes in Outdoor advertising. Each one has it’s benefits but I am leaning towards the outdoor advertising balloons because they are by far less expensive. So if it were you which one would you choose?

Creative Logo Designs for both your company and your individual products or services is a very good way to draw in new business. Consumers today are different than they were a hundred years ago, when people took their time and researched a product before purchasing, it wasn’t about how cool it looked or if it might be bigger and better than what the Jones’ had, but how useful it was and whether it was going make life a little easier for them. But as I said before things are different now our society is different now, we tend to look for the quick and easy way around over or though our daily lives. And with that comes the generalization and if a person can see it they are more likely to purchase it whether they need it or not and no matter the price. We are a very vain society!
So that is why creative logos are one of the keys to selling more of your products and services. Did you l know that not all logos are equal nor all logo companies??? Most of us have seen your most typical banner type logo but there are some other very creative and unique designs available and at a reasonable prices. Two examples are Vector Logos, which are very cool and allow you so much more versatility than your typical image, and 3-D Logos, which are some what self explanatory, can give a logo more depth and are much more engaging to look at, both these types of logos can be found at http://www.pixellogo.com/. Advertising has been around for almost 300 years here in America. The first recorded newspaper advertisement came out in 1704 seeking a buyer for an Oyster Bay, Long Island estate. Then in 1742 we have our first magazine ads put out by Benjamin Franklin’s General Magazine. In 1873 the first convention of advertising agents was held in New York. In 1880 the first retailer hires a full-time advertising copywriter. And in 1883 the magazine Ladies’ Home Journal” is launched.
So as you can see advertising has a long history here in America. But over the last 300 years advertising has changed time and time again expanding and growing to reach a larger and larger audience. And with today’s technology we find that we can now advertise online and reach anyone in the world.
That being said did you know that there’s at least 8 different strategies that a person can utilize to advertise online. Here they are: Article Marketing, Blogs, Search Engine Marketing, Pod Casting, Press Releases, Paid Advertising, and Flicker for photos.
Now some of us are savvy enough to implement these new strategies but other may not be so blessed when it comes to new technology. A couple of months ago that was a question I could not have answered. But today after just a few months of using my new flash drive I can now say it a portable TV, radio, arcade, office, laptop, and photo album all rolled into one. Ready to be used at a moment’s notice, and of course that is if there is an available warm bodied computer nearby.
I can’t believe all the ways I can and do use my USB flash drive. Like I said a couple of months ago I had not a clue what they were but now I don’t have a clue what I would do with out it!

I just threw a Baby Shower for my dear friend Sherrie it’s her first and probably her last! You see my friend and her husband have been married eighteen years and have been trying to conceive for most all of those years. They’d all but given up and now after so many years and several miscarriages they are only 3 weeks from the delivery date and anxiously waiting the arrival of their daughter Tearza Joy. We are all very happy for this special event to finally happen.
After talking with several other we decided we wanted to find some really cool baby shower invitations, and party favors! While we pretended to welcome her in put we were all very secretive with the actual details, because we wanted this to be a very memorable moment in her life.
Here’s what we came up with, we found some really cute Heart Charms we could place on all the thank gifts, which were starter kits to begin scrap booking. We figured that since most of us mother find very little time to sort though the baby picts and then theirs the achievements in school, church, sports ect. those are the last thing we ever get to, especially after you have had more than one child, So we decided it would be great if we could all get together and chat and organize our children’s past by scrap booking!
We also decided that since this baby girl was such a blessing we wanted the invitation to show how precious she was to us all! So that someday when she was older she could see how much she was loved even before her arrival. Here is the invitation we choose Beautiful Butterflies. And last but not least we all decided it would be fun to make a time capsule that included bit and pieces from the baby shower but also a newspaper from the day she’s born and a menu from the time she was born clipping of what was popular and all sorts of little thing that would clue her in to what was going on while still in her mother tummy as well as right after she was born. We will add things to the time capsule until her first birthday!
Well any ways this was such a big thing in my life I just had to share it with you all! Hope you have a blast at your next baby shower, we sure did!

Last summer I decided to add on to my house. We, my dog Sam and I, have decided we want to offer a great place for all our their friends hang out!Currently we have a 1500sq.ft. home and with all the entertaining we do this is just not enough.
We are planning to add on one more bedroom so we will then have a total of 3 beds and 2 baths, plus we are planning on converting one of the larger bed rooms into a media room. I think that this will give us all the added room we need to function without feeling like we might get lost.Here are some of the furniture I will need to consider purchasing.
Tell me what you think of this Home Theater Seating and an Entertainment Center. I am looking for some fun and funky colors because these will be in the new media room where I am hoping we will spend a lot of time in. I have recently found this store www.homefurnituremart.com and recently purchased a dinning set from them. I have found that their pricing is very reasonable but want to check out as many avenues as possible before I make my final choice. So if any one else can suggest another furniture store that would be great.

There are more of us today than 20 years ago that are dealing with aging parents, family members and even some friends. Why? Well it’s because a large portion of Americas population today are “Baby Boomers”. And they were the generation who were not only a part of the population boom but helped speed us into a new age of technology and convince. I sometimes wish I had been a part of all that! Such an exciting time! And yet with out the technology we have today I would not be sitting at home blogging on my computer? So I guess I am where I am supposed to be!
Any ways on the topic of aging I have been blessed with one set of parents several aunts and uncles and many more friends and family members. This being the case most every conversation I have these days seems to revolve around aches and pains fears of running out of money boredom and of course dieing.
Why do does everyone seem to think that we the younger generation have all the answers? For example one of my uncle just had heart surgery but found that during recovery his feet and legs were always cold. So I suggested he talk to his doctor who suggested the site www.contourmd.com where he could buy compression stockings. My mom keeps asking me how she can lose weight. I suggested she go to Weight Watchers or something where you are held accountable to you self and others. My other aunt wants to know how she can retire at age 58 and not run out of money. I tell her to wait to retire. My one of my cousins wants to know if she should quit her job because she does not like her boss. My dad is a hypochondriac and thinks everything is going to kill him. And my sister-in-law wants to know what she should do about her own mother. My aunt just went through a nasty divorce and thinks she needs to look 20 years younger so she keeps asking what I think about this or that and sending me to sites like www.ebreastaug.com.
Then I have this friend who is always hurting and she is only 41yearsold (and even though she is not part of the baby boomer age group she too has several of the same problems.) So when she asked me what to do about her aches and pains. I told her she needs to get out of her house and get a job! But then she asked what kind of job? I said get a job that’s focus is to help other feel better (thinking to myself I thought if she helps other to feel better it will hopefully rub off on her and she will feel better too!) She finally after 4 months of indecision decided to go Back to School to learn Massage Therapy. Here is the school she is thinking of going to http://www.chac.edu/ California Healing Arts College.
I love all my family and friends but some days I just need to talk about me and my family! So does any one else have this problem or is it just me???
